Apart from pugs, there is hardly any other dog breed to be found so frequently depicted in art. Pugs are not only considered dogs but a philosophy of life. Their sturdy, compact body and critical look make them unique in character and they are faithful companions. They are a perfect match for those of us who ungrudgingly overlook their beloved friend’s snoring, grunting, shedding and the fact that they call the best seat on the sofa their own.
